Eligibility

A candidate should have completed the Higher Secondary Examination with

• BA English – English as the main subject for admission to BA English
• B.Com – Candidates seeking admission to B.Com Semester Degree Course should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of the Government of Tamil Nadu (or) and other examinations accepted as equivalent by the Syndicate of Madurai Kamaraj University.
• B.Com (CA) – Candidates seeking admission to B.Com (CA) Semester Degree Course should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of the Government of Tamil Nadu (or) and other examinations accepted as equivalent by the Syndicate of Madurai Kamaraj University.
• B.Sc. Computer Science – A candidate should have studied +2 level Mathematics with Physics as one of the subjects in the 10 + 2 stream.
• Tamil , English and Physical Education – Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary Examinations, Government of Tamilnadu or any other examination accepted by the Syndicate as its equivalent.
• Economics – Candidate who have got through their Higher Secondary Examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Examination, Government of Tamil Nadu or any other equivalent Boards of Examinations which, are accepted by the syndicate as equivalent are eligible to this course. All other things being equal, preference should be given to the students who have studied Economics at the Higher Secondary level.
• BCA– A Candidate should have studied +2 Mathematics, with Physics/Commerce/ Economics in the 10 +2 stream
• BBA – Candidates seeking admission to the BBA degree course must have passed the Higher Secondary Examination of the Government of Tamilnadu or as its equivalent examination.
• B.Sc., Hotel Management and Catering Science – A candidate for admission to B.Sc., Hotel Management and Catering Science shall be required to have passed the Higher Secondary Examination or 10 + 2 or an Examination accepted as equivalent thereto by the Madurai Kamaraj University with a minimum of 35% of marks in Aggregate.
